Week 23 Poets Rally participants…. You Know Who You Are…

Please take the awards and enjoy them by clicking on the link below to confirm your participation this week.

Thursday Poets Rally Week 23 Post:

For Previous Poets Rally participants (check the link below) , please feel free to take any awards out of these three and enjoy!

I have been spent hours or days preparing Rally posts, creating awards, visiting poetry blogs to make sure you are on track…But I eventually realize that I have worked too hard, pushed poets too often, and become too tough on some of you.ย  I believe in self motivation, I myself judge via your comments left on fresh poets blogs, but not everyone is happyI can not make everyone happy, I check on all poets, sometimes the perfect poet winnersย  2 or 3 times a day during Wednesdays, Thursdays, …or on Friday before I make final decisions about next week’s nominations, or how to assign awards and finalize the nominations… Some of you take it positively, some feel discouraged when they could not receive all three awards…while some think I am bossy, annoying, or pushy…..

Please forgive me for my mistakes…

Please click on Thursday Poets Rally on right top of my blog to view previous participants (week 1-week22).

All poetry links are contained from above, if you are a previous participant, you are given permission to pick awards from above three.

Jingle will NOT tag or notify you individually….Please claim and have fun!

I value everyone’s support.

U R The Best!

NEXT week, Jingle will take a break, which means NO Poets Rally…

Thursday Poets Rally week 24 may be resumed during week of June 24 -30, 2010,

Under some circumstances…Changes are to be made to fit changing situations in my blog.

Compassionate Blogger Award

Your Creativity Makes Me Smile Award

    1. Oh and have a GREAT week away from the pressures of all what you wrote…I never will be able to understand how you DO all what you DO! But do it well–you DO!!!

  1. Hey Jingle,

Well, I still think that everything you do is amazing and my blog would be nowhere near what it is right now without what you’ve done! Take a wonderful R&R next week–you’re timing, to me, is perfect, because I wouldn’t have been able to participate next week because I’ll be traveling. Thanks for all the awards – they will go up right away!

      1. AWWWW Shucks, Ma’am…it’s EASY to be kind to a lady who IS “Ms kindness” herself!

And NO, I’m not stalking here, just lurking–gee that doesn’t sound real legal either.

I’ll leave this place for now…but be BACH soon…

  2. I am so sorry that some have reacted badly to your generosity & support of poetry. You are my poet hero, Jingle! I will miss the Rally, but I will post a poem anyway next week. Anyone who is missing the Rally should visit me & comment on Thursday, and I will visit you back, absolutely! Jingle, please know that your efforts are appreciated and applauded. We look forward to your return.

  3. thank you…
I did bad things, you know…after long time mutual commenting and encouragements…I never meant to hurt any third party…I am frank and straight forward…and in my culture, when one is silent, which means YES…I misunderstood the other poet, which leads to further faults…
my fault..a lesson for all female poets..

    I appreciate your kind words.

    1. a misunderstanding should be able to be resolved with an apology and explanation. I hope your acceptance of responsibility will lead the injured party to forgive and forget. my support is with you! it is not wrong to be a strong female, and it should not hinder your efforts!

  4. I am sorry for your heartache, Jingle. I appreciate all the time you invest in this effort to make a community of poets. I wish everyone could appreciate this; I am sure you spend many hours working on this each day. I wish you the best and hope you return to your joyful inspiring self and not let this get you down. Thank you for all you do for poetry. Heartspell

  5. dear jingle,
you are the heart and soul of this little group of ours, we all know how much you do for this group and us.
cheer up and dont look back.
    warmest affections,

  6. Jingle, I just want you to know that I had a little free time from taking care of my husband and grandkids so I visit all these new bloggers for you. It is only half of the 18 but I did visit the new ones who read my poem, plus the old ones so in all I should have done more than 18. This is the best that I can do. Anyways I am happy that I had the time to share to do them.

  7. Hi Jingle….I will be happy to visit any new blogger who visits me. I am sooo backed up since my vacation, I am in slow motion. I want to wish all of your great writers the very best. I hope you receive many awards for your dedication and work. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thank you.

You are a friend who have never let me know ever since I met you, I appreciate your positive attitude and willingness to help or support….

      you deserve all 5 awards…
please feel free to take them.
      have a smiling day!

  8. jingle, i felt sad when i read your post. in the blogging world, there are indeed people who are hard to please or simply rude. i have a blogger-friend who has encountered and received insulting comments (sometimes to the point of unfairly hitting her personally) in her own blog after some people have disagreed with her views and opinions.

i have seen how hard you work here, going around all these sites, creating and giving awards to the deserving, leaving nice comments and lifting up our spirits. you have such a generous heart and most of us whom you have befriended in the blogosphere genuinely appreciate this. BUT i guess you really can’t please everyone.

just hang in there… there are more of us who love and support you.

    1. thank you for sharing your thoughts.
I am ready to move on and leave things behind…
I have been foolish and confused, but will be fine!

      1. jingle, it’s ok to feel foolish and confused sometimes. welcome to the club. that’s the beauty of being human… we have a whole gamut of emotions to express.

i hope that you won’t allow this isolated incident to change you or curtail your creativity. don’t stop being the beautiful person that you are.

these awards are lovely! thank you for giving me a reason to smile this morning. ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. For awards am not searching
    For acclaim not reaching
    In fact…I want not for

There is trust in all of us,
    Sometimes breached:
    Like riding a bus,
    And hearing brakes SCREECHED.

    But all is usually OK–alright!
Jingle, when I read your poems
    I come to have sight
    Of who you really are…

You give SO to the Deserving,
    The Undeserving, as well.
    And I say,
    have a nice day!

    1. Dear Steve:

This blog is NOT originally set up for negativity or complaints…Not now, not in the future, I have to say that I have full responsibility for my actions and everyone is and shall be blessed by God,

Let God judge, I am not going to say anything further,
I expect YOU, and EVERYONE else to leave things behind…
If you care about Jingle, please leave it to me to think and handle…

I appreciate your kindness, this blog has more than 300 people reading, thus we are not to make any more mistakes. TRUST me.

I have enjoyed all blogging friends here…

      Happy Saturday!

  10. You are doing something so wonderful…and are appreciated by so many. I for one, am so pleased to have cross pathes with you. You are a very special soul and take care….time off…time to smell the roses!! Thanks for all your wonderful effort…I am sure I speak on behalf of so many here. We love you.

  11. First off thank you for the awards, secondly thank you for your apology, I have felt a little pressure from you in the past, but I never held you responsible, my life is full of pressure. Pressures from work, and pressures from being tough on myself and my writing. I am always one to be doing something and i enjoy your rallies sense the first one i was apart of. I love reading other peoples work, and i love how you have connected us all. You are a wonderful human being
doing a wonderful job. Keep it up, as you support us we support you.

    1. hi,

      you are kind…
i did not communicate with you that much, but from time to time, you jump in and contribute…
you are getting better and better…
      keep working on it…

      i enjoyed your poetry.

  12. i’m sorry abt what happened…

ur doing an amazing amazing job…don’t let any1 tell u otherwise…we are all behind u all the way…

thank u so much for the awards…rally was fun…looking forward to many more in the future..

    take care:)

  13. Thanks so much for your tireless effort Jingle. I have enjoyed each and every minute of my very new journey here..I haven’t even in 3 weeks touched the surface of what you must do in a day. Enjoy your rest! I am humbled by the awards and as always they are beautiful. The best thing about all of this for me has been getting to read a lot of new and very talented writers for that I thank you for I would have never known the way if you had provided the map! The inspiration from you and all the others has been a great encouragement for me! Congrats to all!

  14. Hi Jingle,

You are wonderful, amazing, and i love you for doing what you do! You are connecting people, artists, poets. That is divine work! Make sure it is fun! Art and creativity is not meant to be hard. I will admit that it is at times difficult to comment on 18 posts as i want my comments to mean something. I want to make sure that i connect and leave a comment on a piece of work that i really connect with and i don’t want to just leave comments just to leave them. That means i may need to visit many more than 18 to find the ones i want to comment on. It is nothing against the ones i don’t feel like i want to comment on, it’s more that i want to say more than “i like”. I honor your system and really appreciate what you do. I can’t speak for everyone, but the awards are wonderful delicious topping on the cake and in my opinion, completely unnessisary. If they are causing you stress i suggest you do away with them all together. If you lose participants because of it, my contention is that is not the company you want to keep anyway! Again, you are an amazing woman and making an amazing contribution to art and to the world. I have read a few poems through this site that have really impacted me and i have you to thank. What you do and who u are is more than enough! Thanks for simply being you!

    Luv & Light,
    Lynn ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thank you for the honest feedback…

I am thrilled to have people such as you to see people’s efforts in positive light.

      take good care,
      you rock!

  15. jeezzz Ji.. thats bad ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
infact thursdays are one thing i look fwd.. plan to come up with as many new and good poems that i can..
infact people have got so used to my poems on thursday that they have started asking me “whats the poem this thursday”
“have you written for the rally” etc
its sad to know ๐Ÿ˜ฆ people arent as spirited as you or the others who post with great gusto.. dont feel down Ji ๐Ÿ˜€
we are all still here to participate ๐Ÿ˜€
have a lovely week of break u must just let go of everything n have some fun ๐Ÿ˜€
m sure people will be gearing up for the next rally ๐Ÿ˜€
    atleast i am ๐Ÿ˜€

  16. Jingle… Don’t plz bother about ppl who are against you ๐Ÿ™‚

They don’t understand your efforts and your encouragement. You might have reacted badly by mistake due to your pressure for the rally. If they can’t take that then are weak willed and should just give up! :X

YOUR THE BEST! and YOU ROCK!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

And it is TRUE that none of out BLOGS would have been recognized if not for you ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜‰

Whether rally or no rally we all will still be posting and commenting to keep things going ๐Ÿ˜€

Hope your feeling better and relaxed ๐Ÿ™‚

WIll miss the rally alright … but wil keep posting so that when u come back you’ll have loads to read ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Love ya ji…

    Your blog friends and admirer

    Harsh ๐Ÿ˜‰

    MY link :

  17. Oh ya ji… I was having an idea on how u can make things less hectic for you…

Instead of every week why don’t u keep the rally every alternate week?

That way poets will have more time to post. You can also relax and take more time to do the awards , nominate , decide and stuff.. maybe even make your blog better and find more ppl….. ๐Ÿ™‚

what say? is it good? :O

  18. Thank you for all your continuous effort Jingle, I struggle to write a poem and comment on everyones pieces so I can’t even fathom how much time and effort goes into organising the rally’s each week.

I know it is much appreciated by all who participate and I feel all of us would agree when I said you encourage us all and we all would not be where we are without your efforts.

All the posts here clearly are proof of how we appreciate your effort so enjoy the break and I hope you come back feeling much better and more relaxed.

And finally I say once more, Thank you Jingle

  19. You’re so kind, and you’ve done much for me and my weblog.. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You rock!

  20. Dear Jingle, sorry to hear that you are having difficulties but if you deal in public that is just the way it is, like mosquitos in the summer. If anyone leaves negative comments on my blog I delete them. It is my blog and I will write what ever I please. Hang in there and don’t quit. The reward here is getting to be a part of such a sweet, supportive poets community. Every poem and poet gets a good review here because kindness is the rule. This is not a writers critic blog cause if some professional writers or english teachers came on here they would tear us up. (Cmon, some of you are teachers and you know, some of our poems suck.) But that is not what this, Jingle’s Blog! is all about. It is your blog Jingle and even if we come here and you come to us, this is still yours and you have done a fabulous job. I am new to publishing anything I write. For years it was my therapy tool to survive life and then I come here and get treated so good that it inspired me to go forward instead of quit. I was afraid of writing publically and you came along at just the right time and invited me in. thank you so much Jingle you are special!!!!! love alan

    1. Alan:

  21. Jingle,

  22. Dear Jingle,
Thank you so much for thinking of all of us. I appreciate all the work you go through to truly cherish each and every person through their expressionist creations. I think that is wonderful, and you are indeed a true friend to everyone.

  23. Thanks again Jingle… I haven’t yet had the space in this crazy life to reply to all the kind comments of my visitors.. I can’t accept the awards for this week (unless it finishes wednesday?) because as yet I haven’t visited other sites… I will only accept the awards if I still have till Wed. and visit at least 12 blogs.

    1. Lurk:

No obligations to take any awards…
they are meant to encourage, if not, ignore and move on…
thank you for the honest feedback…

  24. Jingle, you are doing a fantastic job keeping the spirit of poetry alive. Appreciate all the effort and time you are putting into this. Thank you!

  25. dear ji, tq 4 the awards, tq 4 the break. u enjoy yours. and good riddance to bad rubbish to those spoilt brats out there who nvr appreciate your efforts! bring them to me so that i can kick their ass! oops!like real.. (joking)

    1. Fiveloaf:

      thank you for being supportive…
on last Thursday, you have broke the record by hitting my blog 86 times in one single day…I take it as a positive contribution, because you have read and commented for all poets, which is why I award you perfect 3or 4 weeks in a row,..

heartspell came in second, she hits my blog link 68 times in one single day…

      everything happens for a reason,
hard work does or shall pay off.

  26. Thank you for all you do, Jingle! I know I was thrilled when I started mysteriously started getting a lot of visits one Thursday. It’s some pressure to make all 18 visits, yes, but it’s fun and it’s worth it to get reactions to my poetry and encourage other poets. Take a break, as long as you need, but I hope to see the rally start again sometime!

Thank you for the lovely awards and I hope to see you around again!

  27. Thanks so much Jingle for all you do with all of the poets and continue untiring efforts to recognize us…may you always be on the path of this positivity and Soul that lives with in…it is such a joy to be your friend…..enjoy and thanks as yes I am a Father of a 22 year old daughter who is seeking her masters in teaching, HAPPY SUNDAY TO YOU AS WELL(+)

  28. Thank you so much, Jingle. You are most generous, and encouraging, even though I don’t think I deserve this. Still, I keep trying.

I wish you a lovely break, relaxation, fun, joy, and refreshment. Thank you for sharing your uniques spirit and efforts with us all.

  29. Thank you, Jingle! I am not the “most” at anything, but as you give me my choice, I think the most appropriate is Persistent – because I have kept to my commitment to write and post a blog post a day (although not necessarily a poem), no matter how inane, this year so far – 171 posts.

Thank you for your own persistent encouragement!

  30. jingle, i am sad that some people have misunderstood your efforts…. i hope you know that there are a lot more people out there (like me) who really appreciate what you do. ๐Ÿ™‚ take care… *wink*

    1. Ishabelle:

you have been attending the Rally all the time, only have one week off…I certainly value your support.

You are among most quality poets, because at times, when you do not get the attention, still, you come in and give your positive energy to my blog and my Rally…

nothing is more precious than selfless support…
      Thanks a million….

  31. Jingle- I just want to thank you for all your efforts… it takes alot of time and a big piece of your life to do what you do…. let me just say I appreciate what you are doing for the poetry community…..I have been happy to be a part of it for the past few weeks and pray you continue to reach out and bless us all…..bkm

  32. Thank you for your beautiful awards, dear friend!!
I’m honored to receive it! ๐Ÿ™‚
You are a kind person as always!!

    Enjoy the moment!!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  33. Jingle

all of this is new to me with as you know I have always done Willows Tuesday Magpie.

Well let me back track thank you for all of your efforts — this is an enormous effort on your part. I am still trying to figure out the rules of the road and I am not sure what logo I am suppose to post and all for this next week — hope I am correct here again and then we are suppose to do a haiku? and name another poet?

Help I am lost with all this

  34. Jingle, I really admire your patience!!! Sifting through all those blogs/posts, choosing from them, regularly posting updates!!! Gosh!! Tremendous efforts!
We all appreciate it, and the encouragement you are giving us all…
