I have been spent hours or days preparing Rally posts, creating awards, visiting poetry blogs to make sure you are on track…But I eventually realize that I have worked too hard, pushed poets too often, and become too tough on some of you. I believe in self motivation, I myself judge via your comments left on fresh poets blogs, but not everyone is happy…I can not make everyone happy, I check on all poets, sometimes the perfect poet winners 2 or 3 times a day during Wednesdays, Thursdays, …or on Friday before I make final decisions about next week’s nominations, or how to assign awards and finalize the nominations… Some of you take it positively, some feel discouraged when they could not receive all three awards…while some think I am bossy, annoying, or pushy…..

I did bad things, you know…after long time mutual commenting and encouragements…I never meant to hurt any third party…I am frank and straight forward…and in my culture, when one is silent, which means YES…I misunderstood the other poet, which leads to further faults…
my fault..a lesson for all female poets..

Jingle, I just want you to know that I had a little free time from taking care of my husband and grandkids so I visit all these new bloggers for you. It is only half of the 18 but I did visit the new ones who read my poem, plus the old ones so in all I should have done more than 18. This is the best that I can do. jingle, i felt sad when i read your post. in the blogging world, there are indeed people who are hard to please or simply rude. i have a blogger-friend who has encountered and received insulting comments (sometimes to the point of unfairly hitting her personally) in her own blog after some people have disagreed with her views and opinions.
i have seen how hard you work here, going around all these sites, creating and giving awards to the deserving, leaving nice comments and lifting up our spirits. you have such a generous heart and most of us whom you have befriended in the blogosphere genuinely appreciate this. BUT i guess you really can’t please everyone.
just hang in there… there are more of us who love and support you.

You are wonderful, amazing, and i love you for doing what you do! You are connecting people, artists, poets. That is divine work! Make sure it is fun! Art and creativity is not meant to be hard. I will admit that it is at times difficult to comment on 18 posts as i want my comments to mean something. I want to make sure that i connect and leave a comment on a piece of work that i really connect with and i don’t want to just leave comments just to leave them. That means i may need to visit many more than 18 to find the ones i want to comment on. It is nothing against the ones i don’t feel like i want to comment on, it’s more that i want to say more than “i like”. I honor your system and really appreciate what you do. I can’t speak for everyone, but the awards are wonderful delicious topping on the cake and in my opinion, completely unnessisary. If they are causing you stress i suggest you do away with them all together. If you lose participants because of it, my contention is that is not the company you want to keep anyway! Again, you are an amazing woman and making an amazing contribution to art and to the world. I have read a few poems through this site that have really impacted me and i have you to thank. What you do and who u are is more than enough! Thanks for simply being you!

Oh ya ji… I was having an idea on how u can make things less hectic for you…
Instead of every week why don’t u keep the rally every alternate week?
That way poets will have more time to post. You can also relax and take more time to do the awards , nominate , decide and stuff.. maybe even make your blog better and find more ppl….. 🙂

Thank you for all your continuous effort Jingle, I struggle to write a poem and comment on everyones pieces so I can’t even fathom how much time and effort goes into organising the rally’s each week.
I know it is much appreciated by all who participate and I feel all of us would agree when I said you encourage us all and we all would not be where we are without your efforts.

Dear Jingle, sorry to hear that you are having difficulties but if you deal in public that is just the way it is, like mosquitos in the summer. If anyone leaves negative comments on my blog I delete them. It is my blog and I will write what ever I please. Hang in there and don’t quit. The reward here is getting to be a part of such a sweet, supportive poets community. Every poem and poet gets a good review here because kindness is the rule. This is not a writers critic blog cause if some professional writers or english teachers came on here they would tear us up. (Cmon, some of you are teachers and you know, some of our poems suck.) But that is not what this, Jingle’s Blog! is all about. It is your blog Jingle and even if we come here and you come to us, this is still yours and you have done a fabulous job. I am new to publishing anything I write. For years it was my therapy tool to survive life and then I come here and get treated so good that it inspired me to go forward instead of quit. Thank you for all you do, Jingle! I know I was thrilled when I started mysteriously started getting a lot of visits one Thursday. It’s some pressure to make all 18 visits, yes, but it’s fun and it’s worth it to get reactions to my poetry and encourage other poets. Take a break, as long as you need, but I hope to see the rally start again sometime!

all of this is new to me with as you know I have always done Willows Tuesday Magpie.
Well let me back track thank you for all of your efforts — this is an enormous effort on your part.
