  1. As excited about the rally as ever!! (Hope I am in though… )
Visits and commenting in progress! A new post on its way too 🙂

Best wishes to you and all…

  2. hi jingle.
    I hope you’re feeling better.
    .
I’m actually right in the middle of producing episode 1 of my webshow.
I’ve already been going 7 hours straight.
So i dont have time to write a new poem.
But if you could link up this from last week.
    http://artswebshow.com/2010/06/24/free-flow-poetry-let-go-of-reality/
It’s already had a good measure of success.
But i like the idea so much that if it could go further i’d grab that chance.
Perhaps you’d like to take part?
Unless of course you already have. lol
I’ll be back to normal next week.
And i will go through the list but its unlikely to be today.
    Sorry about that.
I really need to get this thing done

  3. My dear friend Jingle,
I am sorry to say but I am giving up blogging for awhile. My husband has taken another turn for the worst. Once again he is back in the hospital with that contagious bacterium C Diff, plus he has pneumonia. The doctor said his immune system is gone and at this point for him this bacteria is very dangerous. I am afraid he is going to need all of my attention now. I want you to know that I have enjoyed being part of this circle and love each of you. I will return someday when my husband is no longer so very ill, but right now doing everything I do in one day is beginning to be too much for me. I wish all of you the best of luck.

    Love and Prayers,
    Viola

    1. Hey Viola, hopefully things will soon turn alright.
      Keep holding on dear,
I’ll pray for your husband’s good health and fast recovery!

      Greetings,
      Shagufta
      (:

  4. Hi Jingle – I visited my 18. It’s great to see so many poets. Ironically, since I am so new to this, I’ve been trying to find other poets to read. You’ve actually answered a prayer 😉

  5. Thanks for linking my blog. I don’t know what to say – You’ve made my day!

But a small correction, my URL is placed next to Amaya’s Love and my blog name,”Chronicles of Narlia” is next to Amaya’s URL.

  6. Hi Jingle, I am glad the rally is back. I will read more poems tommorow when I get home, it is bedtime now! I have read some already and there are more great ones. Here is my poem, this one is special to me and I share it just because it is so special. I hope you enjoy, but I hope none can relate. Thank You Very Much for the chance to participate, I will do my best.
    http://ncbeachcomber.wordpress.com/2010/06/30/precious-star-2/ your friend asa

  7. hi ji! yes, my perfect poet award comes with the poem titled “little hearts” and as for the rally this week, its called “thump thump thump!” thank you for asking..

  8. I am a bit confused still …do I have to write a new Haiku for week 24 or does the excisting one count? (Am sure I’ll learn eventually) 🙂
    Thanks Jingle oxo

  9. Hi, thanks for the link.
I’m a little confused though as to what this is?
    Anyone able to explain?
    Thanks,
    Alex.

      Happy Thursday!
      Happy Poetry Reading and writing!

  10. O_O Thank you for including me in your post :D. I was wondering what the details were about the “rally” and if/how that is different from the contests!! Thanks.

  11. Please be patient,

I will visit all of you one by one,
it takes me some time to link in and do the visits and all…

    thank you.
    😉

  12. hi jingle… i have done the agreement “sign in” but not finished with the 18 (and more) yet. i might be able to finish tomorrow. 😉 thanks for doing this for all of us. it is much appreciated.

        1. OMG your poets are really impressive… i’ve been to a lot of the regulars’ blogs and i was blown away by those beautiful poems. those who experimented on a different form of poetry (not their usual style) came up with really good ones as well.

congratulations to all the thursday rallyists!!!

    1. Hi Jingle.. I’ve just finished visiting 18 fresh poets from your list – the first 18 on the list and have read and commented on each poem/story I saw on all 18 webpages. It has been a journey of discovery and delight!. Now I must sleep as it is very late in my time zone. Thanks Jingle …and thanks to all of the poets whom I visited. I am honored to read your creative and wonderful writing.:)
      Cheers!
      John

  13. Dear Jingle, I have read all new poets on the list and commented on at least 18. I have also commented on many of my usual ones. Enjoyed reading everyone. Heartspell

  14. Yippee the rally’s back…i’v just started d visit and will be posting my poem in a day or two…Cheers jingle and rally participants…:)
Viola…Hope ur husband gets well soon…praying

  15. I believe I did it….that is visit and comment on at least 18…..blessings…bkm

  16. I think it was a brilliant idea to start a fresh blog for the Thursday Rally for poets. that will make it clutter free. I will be back there next rally. Right now let me clear my backlog 🙂

    cheers and best of luck!

  17. I’ve already discussed poems of more than 18 poems 🙂 and hoping to read more from the other poets 😀 and since I have no clue how I go about nominating someone, I nominate here, if that is okay. I nominate Kavita: kavisionz.wordpress.com 😀 cheers

  18. Well done to all who are participating and I’m so happy to be visiting all these new individuals blog. It is great! Thank you so much for all your hard work, Jingle. You are truly a star. 🙂

  19. hi jingle… i just finished my rounds and did more than 18 from the fresh poets list. i will be back tomorrow to check out the regulars’ posts.

  20. Since this is my first time, can I get a little help with the rules? I visited 18 poets, roughly equal between previous participants and the fresh new poets. Am I supposed to do 18 of each?

Also, am I supposed to put in a vote for each of the three awards?

    Thanks for the help!

P.S. Jingle, this is a great idea. Thanks for doing it.

    1. hi,

totally 18 poets will be enough, not including those who visited you first,
      no need to nominate anything…
      thank you.

      relax and have fun!

    2. DiamondsAndDogs, you’re my favorite this week. 🙂
Ji, I don’t know if that counts as a nomination. (“.)?

btw, done with 18!!! yaaaay!!! I caught up… sorry if i had too many comments, just got so excited.

  21. Hi Jingle.. I’ve just finished visiting 18 fresh poets from your list – the first 18 on the list and have read and commented on each poem/story I saw on all 18 webpages. 22. Hi Jingle, an excellent concept – although I imagine it is quite labour intensive for yourself, so I’m highly appreciative of your efforts. I’m fairly new to the blogging world and I am humbled by a lot of the traffic that you’ve been sending towards my site. I’d love to have the time to participate in this week’s rally, but I’m afraid things are a bit too busy for me at the moment: although I’m sure that I’ll take part in the future.

    Thanks again,

    Peter

    1. Welcome,

#1: return favors to all poets who have been in your blog
#2: visit and comment for 18 poets NEW to you from my week 24 participants list…

    so am i all done?

p.s: the new poets are AWESOME! looking forward to reading more. 🙂

    1. i also read 18 poems from different sites…and they were awesome! it’s great to know that people are still creative and appreciate the art of poetry! 🙂

  25. And now I’ve read and commented on at least 18 🙂 This is an amazing thing you are doing and these are some amazing poets!

    1. 18+ read and posted on. What a great group of poets out there. I am honored to be listed with them.

  26. Jingle: thank you so very much for the kind mention and the introduction to this vibrant community! I am indebted to you. I have added a ton of new blogs to my RSS reader today, thanks to you and all the other wonderful writers here.

I was away from the interwebs for a week and so I more or less missed the boat, but you can be sure you’ll see me around soon.

    Thanks again!

  27. Hi Jingle,

Just to let you know I have been busy reading and commenting. More than 18, and I will be reading more tomorrow. A lot of good and intense work.

    Thanks Again,
    Bill

  28. Jingle
I have finished my comments. I want to make sure I understand all this correctly or at least a bit. lol The next Thursday Rally will post on July 22 and the week is soon after. I submit a poem and then comment on 9 new poets. Is that correct? Thanks for including me in all this fun. 🙂

    1. Comment for 18 NEW poets..

      thank you for the information,
Yes, next Rally post will be on July 21, but run from July 22 to July 28, 2010…
We usually get it done within 2 days.

  29. To poets,

if you have participated Rally week 24 and did not get notice for poetry awards yet, please comment to let me know.
I may overlook due to the fact that you did not comment for 18 poets or other factors,
    please,
