  1. Hi Jingle, sorry I didnt realise I hadnt nominated anyone last week, i get too confused easily!!!

although is depressing I would like to enter Journeys End into this weeks rally
    http://petemarshall1.wordpress.com/2010/05/16/journeys-end/

its part of the My Struggle with Unemployment series & its an article that I would very much like people to read because this is an emotion that hits so many of us at some time during the period.

I was at the unemployment offices yesterday talking about this and the clerk I was chatting to was saying she sees so many people hit this period when all seems lost!!!

Anyway I digress, count me in with this entry.

    cheers

    Pete

      1. it is not over until Friday, or next Wednesday,

The poem will be at the top of the page, right under the awards as you asked, and i always hold off posting my Thursday photo/thought until late so it’s easy to see where my rally poem is. Thanks! Looking forward to reading everyone tonight & tomorrow!

  7. Hi Jingle, this looks interesting.. and thank you for adding me to the list of new blogs to explore. What day of the week does the rally start on? and do you do it every week? Networking with other bloggers is fun! Perhaps it’s already too late this week? Look fwd to more contact with you

    warmest salad,

    Luke

    1. It is not too late,
      today is only Wednesday…
I host the poets Rally once a week,
You can attend any time, no deadline, for Rally week 19, or this week,
      the deadline is next Wednesday…

participants comment to let me know,
      visit 12 blogs,
      then they are done…
      I create awards for them,
it is fun for most of them, it is a way to encourage people to write, read, and enjoy poetry…

      thanks.
The date for this week is May 20-26,
we start one day early and get the job done within 2 or 3 days…
      no obligations!

  8. Thanks for having me on your list of fresh poets this week. I really appreciate the exposure. Now, to get to work on something so that I might live up to my billing ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Cheers.

  9. Ji,

I wanted to present another offering. I took a reverse-Fib and mirrored it, creating a new poem in the process. I hope you like it.

    Night Fears

When the dawn comes, all will be well
    no more need to hide
    darkness fades
    ending
    night
    Fear
    night
    ending
    darkness fades
    no more need to hide
When the dawn comes, all will be well

You can find it here: http://undeadpoets.wordpress.com/2010/05/19/night-fears-mirrored-fib-poem-undeadpoets/

    Rhyme on!

Also I would like to thank everyone who nominated me for week 18. You are all too sweet and kind.

  12. hi ji, thank you for informing me- ok this week i will participate- hope that I am not too late.. also, i believe i needed to 1) visit/comment twelve fresh poets, 2) nominate a poet and 3) post a poem, 4) inform you when its done. did i fall short anywhere? just that i hv forgotten the rules after my irregular breaks being occupied with what nots! thanks again!

      1. tq jingle, do not know much about this nominating a poet thingy which i believe the honor goes to the previous weeks nominees/winners- am i correct? anyway, i wrote down the name of the poet of my choice in my post just in case… well, I have done my rounds! ^o^
p.s. was also looking for your week 19 beautiful logo to paste on my poem- is there any? (wink!)

  13. I’m back Ji. The new Poets to explore were really interesting to read. The usual old Poets kept the flag burning. It’s a beautiful rally indeed. Cheers!

  14. Well my wonderful friend, I have visit many bloggers today as my husband and grandkids took their naps. I lost count but am sure I went over the amount you asked for. Had fun visiting those who I have wanted to visit but didn’t have time to spare, and those who I haven’t visit in awhile. But everyone I am sure understands I have to take care of my husband until he is back on his feet doing for himself. Well this is all I have time for today. God bless. Please send me a link to the two poems you said for me to pick up, they were at the bottom you said.

    Love Vi

  15. Hi Jingle – do I need to write a brand-new poem right now to be part of this week’s rally, or will my recent A couple of Villanelles be OK? So then I have to visit 12 new poetry blogs (on the list above) and comment? That would be a pleasure, I enjoy reading others’ work. Please let me know if this is correct

    thanks

    Luke @ WordSalad
