You were our friend,
Things came to an end,
Because, something I “offend”.
.
I was waiting outside the door,
But she jumped over the floor
and went to see you, I saw.
.
After she’s gone,
I came in
and you asked me to leave you alone.
.
You, She, I,
You chose her,
I know why.

That’s a tough choice in life and the one who gets left out doesn’t like it.
A good story presented within these lines…a bit typical of some relationships.
A love triangle 55. Never an easy thing, especially when it happens with friends.
Ack!! Those triangles can be very very miserable.. for one! 😦
Well written, Ji!
That’s sad!
It’s so hard when there’s always one person left out.
It happens, doesn’t it. Nicely written and well illustrated, Ji. Good job. A + + + as you would say! 🙂
writing a story like that in 55 words is a tough job jingle and you did it wonderfully.
Well done J and thanks for making this site such a wealth of talent.
So sad – but so clever of you, Jingle!
XOXO Lola:)
Sounds so sad! I hope everything turns out all right!
X-cellent!~Ames

You said so much in so few words!
This was a great post, very compact!
Xcellent link Jingle.
I love the way you aren’t afraid of any writing challenges!
X all by itself is tough…and that little controlled poem.
Very neat!
Thanks for an Xcellent link!
A+
I admire you for tackling writing challenges.
Good poem but sad.
It’s always hard to be the third wheel…the odd man out.

The illustration and the picture added much to your poem. Great job!
you did wonderful … what a challenge!
This is really heartbreaking and sad but very well done .
Ah, love triangles…. Definitely sounds a lot like my brother’s love life. He’s always the one getting the short end of the stick though 😦
So sad when three’s a crowd. Great job and perfect imagery.
Sad commentary on a love triangle that involves two friends. The photo goes so well with the poem.

As at least one other person has said, that last line has quite a punch to it. A very swiftly told, sharp story full with emotion.
