Hard to Fulfill Life’s Proposal (Poets Rally Entry in 55 words)

A function may be transcendental,
A mind is emotional;
A pain may be mental,
A cut on hand is physical;
A product may be artificial,
A concert is musical…
Hard to fulfill
life’s proposal,
Some incidents are meant to be confidential;
The look of twins may be identical,
Yet, their stories are absolutely
wonderfully
differentiable.

You, She, I, Excuse Me and Good Bye

You were our friend,
Things came to an end,
Because, something I “offend”.
.
I was waiting outside the door,
But she jumped over the floor
and went to see you, I saw.
.
After she’s gone,
I came in
and you asked me to leave you alone.
.
You, She, I,
You chose her,
I know why.

Yesterday I Took A Wrong Turn

Yesterday,
I took a wrong turn
and ended up on a cliff;
Today,
I plan my path before I start,
I want to be smart
and accomplish things with firm belief.

Tomorrow,
I’ll bury all of the sorrows
and let go of errors,
I’ll know when to stop
and orchestra my way to the top.

55-The Rings of The Phone

Just like the ripples of water
When throwing in a stone,
The rings of the phone
make stirring sound.
Lan’s heart beats
furiously
As she gives her puppy some treats
Nervously.
The phone keeps ringing,
“Woof, woof,”
Boots barks, waiting,
Lan scoops her up,
“Hello, what’s up?”
“…”
What does she hear?
U tell me, dear!

55-When You See Me Wet In The Rain

When you see me wet in the rain,
You know I am traveling
on a one-way train.
You may wonder aloud
what’s all the
frowning and the
Groaning and the
Crying and the
Trying all about.
My mind stops functioning
And refuses to take
That unpaved road
As images in my brain
Begin to download.

55-The Stars Seem Shy

No whisper descends
from the groaning sky,
No scowl wrinkles
the tiring pool,
No true love succeeds
Without struggling to follow the general rule.
The stars seem shy
When leaning down to hear babies cry.
The town hall leers
Its torn shelves,
The cars try
to lose weight
By sending homes
of those absent-minded elves.

55-Single Dad

Jim buckled his sick baby in a car seat.
After 5 tries,
He started the engine.
“God helps me, ”
Jim murmured,
Miserably.
His wife left him for a richer man,
He became Sam’s mom then,
Jim doesn’t want to remarry yet,
He is not sure he can ever trust another woman in his life again.

This is the first time Jingle writes a story in fiction for Flash Friday 55.
Single Dad is inspired by Brian Miller at Brian with his 55 titled Single Mom,

Thank YOU, Brian, for being such a creative writer and an inspiration to your readers,

Single Dads needs attentions too, agree?

Flash Friday 55-I Am A Jolly Blogger

As solid as a logger,
As sweet as a cheery pie,
I am a jolly blogger,
None is happier than I.
I feel cheerful
Since I’m mindful.
Blogging binge is a pleasant sin,
It has nothing to do with pitfall like gin.
Enjoy what you have,
That’s how bliss shall arrive
At your hard drive.
