The Love Metaphor (Poetry And Story)

Hyde Park Thursday Poets Rally Week 73 (September 20 – September 26, 2012)

Short Story Slam Week 27: Locations and Sensations

If I say autumn,
write the phrase “polar bear”,
attach it to the snow owl,
and send it to your mailbox,
then, when you unfold the paper
and swallow my words,
you will feel full
and shall taste how much,
Just how deep I love you,
in the past, in the presence,
and in the future.
