Just Giggle A Little

Life is never perfect for everyone: high school seniors worry about their college applications; college graduates have troubles landing a satisfactory jobs during economic crisis periods; university professors get frustrated for being unable to obtain tenure track faculty positions due to the lack of research funding; the presidents of the higher education institutions bite their lips and frown when they failed to establish sizable grants to give faculty and staff a raise…

As a result, classes are run mechanically, meetings are held with no cheers or praises, and the media reports crimes in high volumes and features articles filled with negative comments or complaints. Everyone starts to view life as miserable and unfortunate as it can be.

Step back, see things in a different light, you will know that when one door is closed behind you, another door is open. A smile is a sunshine, it enlightens a village around you, Having a laughter over your own mistakes, worries, and stresses will free your spirit at first, reprogram your brain cells to produce healthier or smoother train of thoughts, and whenever you feel like rejected, being let down, or overwhelmed by the situation around you, you know how to switch the channels and turn yourself on by giving jingle giggles, just a little at a time, it evaporates the wetness and heaviness instantly.

Everyone is a mirror, when you smile at your neighbors, they will smile back with positive assumptions, when you praise your coworkers, they praise you back in similar fashions, when you focus on what you could give to the poor, the learning disabled, or the disadvantaged, instead of what you might gain from them, you freed yourself and win respects, admiration, and approvals. Show people the ways you wanted to be seen, heard, and discussed, they will show you the same.

No matter whom you are and where you come from, please take the magical weapon for success: relax, smile, and let the faith you have in life to take charges. Just

Giggle a little,

Jingle your bells;

Wiggle a little,

Fine-tune your body;

Google a little,

Renew your spirits,

Yahoo a little,

Refresh your memories!

  1. Hey Jingle – I’ve been hearing a lot about you and how you seem to have encouraged lots of people in blogland. I must say, I love this particular post…it is SO positive! I wrote a poem called “Time Out” which is written in a similar fashion. All the best my friend! http://chloerichmond.wordpress.com/
