Life, Willow, and Moon! (Willow = Chui ‘ Liu)

November rain glues
like ashes in autumn sky,
We huddle tight as cows near the stove,
Yet refuse to know why,
Told stories wake up, chirping, like a dove.
.
The green river sits,
Admiring the ambitious willow trees next,
We envy eagles easy in their power,
Slicing the space without worrying about context.
“Don’t let your milk go sour!”
.
Words spell out, echoing,
The moon escapes a notch,
Ready to bounce back, any time soon;
Emptiness fills the room, cache,
Life, like the willow, a distant moon!

Nature

Dogs bark at midnight,

a horse thumps his ribs with his tails.

Thunder in the morning goes on into noon,

Trapped chickens expect heavy rain soon.

.

Leaves shiver,

Waterfalls roar.

.

Muscat panic sky,

Half wet and half dry.

.

Fish float to breathe air,

Cows in the barn make anxious stare.

.

Crickets fasten their ticks,

Pigs play with match sticks.

.

Your mood tips over the day like a thud,

What’s the door to Heaven, you’ve forgot.

.

The Day In July

In a book the day

is a glimpse of blue,

In a map the day

gives a pin-point clue.

On the tongue the day

is a watermelon of sweet,

In the face the day

is a pool of heat.

.

On the phone the day

is a wave of light,

In the eye the day

shatters like glass in sight.

Fall in love with fascinating Fall,

Fear nothing at all.

Facts and factors form a riddle,

Face a fabulous fiddle.

Faith facilitates fulfilling future,

Fire all the filthy creature.

Free fictional fears,

Fix fidget tears and wears.

File a final and fateful divorce

to all false and frightful force.

No more grades of F,

E Is 4 Enjoyable

Today I woke up to a transformation of rain,

Its drops of tears flood everywhere,

The world outside becomes a blur.

I see no car run,

It’s time for some wet fun.

I put on my boots,

And start to walk

Along the sidewalk.

The sky is dark with no cloud,

The neighborhood is empty with no crowd.

The rain hits my umbrella

Via the shifting trees,

My boots make splashes

When stepping on puddles

That are all over the places.

Coming home excited with the rain,

I grow an admiration of it for being plain.

Rains are ways

To purify minds of a human,

The way cash is applied to pay off one’s financial burden.

E is 4 E-N-J-O-Y-A-B-L-E,

Rain is certainly adorable!

Don’t you believe this is true?

As the world stands anew,

I recall my dreams about you.

You Are Special

A Panda is cute,

its existence is enlightening;

You are special,

because of you, life is exciting!

Before you are born, your name is considered, selected, and whispered a billion times; before you are ready to rock the world, your future is planned, imaged, and discussed in a favorable fashion; before you are able to tell who you are and what you want, you are taught, touched, spoken to, and written to by the ones who relate to you.

You surprise your loved ones with your innocence, shining smiles, and natural sense of reality. You are precious, and you remind people to appreciate the extraordinary discovery of creating a new life and cherishing it.

You are the gift of the universe, your presence brightens everyone’s life on a daily basis, because you are dynamic, clever, and harmless; and your reaction to the world differentiates yourself from others, which transforms the ordinary  into the unique, the great, and the upright.

A Panda is rare, but you are special! Without you, life makes less sense!

Be proud of being you, accept the life you have! Grow and learn while having enormous fun!
