Your Eyes Are Red-Theme Thursday & Poets Rally Post

You take a hard road,

I sip the tears your eyes try to hold.

You drink a bottle of wine,

I finish what is undone.

Your eyes are red,

I help you go to bed.

Through evening’s rest, you dream,

I try to silent you when you scream.

You wake up often,

You cry;

I listen,

I stay nearby.

When you eventually have the clue

of what you shall do,

I leave

With a sign of relief.

The Perfect Poet Award week 14

As I Open A book And Turn The Pages

As I open a book

And turn the pages,

I walk into lives of writers

Whose word engages.

As I intake soul food

And feel spiritually good,

I cannot help beaming

About some pleasant screaming.

As I scan the news online

To seek extra fun,

I warn myself

To be easy on stuff such as a elf.

As I play a game

That carries my name,

I am careful

Not to be too tame.

As I feel happy and able.

I mean nil harm to those who feel miserable.

Money shall not be everything

In a healthy living,

Harvest what one sows,

That’s how one grows.

Thursday Poets Rally Information will be posted

12 hours later…

Jingle is working on it…

Happy Wednesday!

Weekend Funnies Week 3—There Once Was A Girl Named Daisy

There once was a girl named Daisy,

She was well known for being lazy.

She would not take any shower

Or wipe her mouth with a paper towel;

She would not brush her teeth

Or say a friendly phrase such as PLEASE;

She would not work or study hard,

Thus she is not given a credit card;

She refuses to listen

And she gets punished often;

She never wins

Because she complains.

“She is slothful.”

“She is sinful.”

People avoid her as if she is trash

That worth No cash.

Until she develops a crush

On a man who makes a liviing with his paint brush.

Daisy becomes less crazy,

Once she stops being lazy,

Love has her empowered,

and she learns to have herself showered,

She is properly dressed

And has her man impressed.

Daisy tries hard

And wins his heart.

“She is beautiful,”

“She is mindful.”

People greet her as if she is a queen

Who is sharp and keen.

Daisy’s story fills people with laughter,

After she and her man have lived happily after.

…With A Poetic Kiss (Week 10 The Perfect Poet Award Accpetance)

Call the world’s soul

Including mine,

More beautiful than

Is the sun

Making its glory sunshine

To ripe grapes into wine,

Forget about what’s your goal,

Or what’s his,

Let those poets

Welcome Bliss

Of Talents

And have toasts

With a poetic kiss.
