Did you know?

Did you know

kids in your neighborhood’s lives?

Did your friends show

their fears, struggles, or how horrified to see men ignore their wives?

It is hard to tell

In general.

But hearing a scream from next door,

My brother and I jump out of our chairs and hold our breath on the cold floor,

Is their house on fire?

Or they have a fight for unfulfilled desire?

As kids,

We don’t understand many things,

A family life could be romantic,

It could also be problematic!

We wonder why some parents love to complain

While their marriages are entitled to remain?

We hope that nothing bad happens,

Patiently, We will wait for our parents.

What Do You Think Of Water?

Water can form a pool

To keep you cool;

Water can be the steam

To power the train along the stream.

Water becomes the tears

When you weep over life’s fears;

Water is the dewdrops

When you audit and learn lessons in life’s workshops.

Water sacrifices

When bitter coldness force it into ices,

Water can be the flood

That bullies your souls!

Water enables plants grow

When warm sunlight melts the snow,

Water can be plain

To keep thirst from hurting your brain!

Water is here,

Water is there,

Water is everywhere

For you to enjoy, and

What do you think of water?

Water to fish is air to human, water exists in our lives everywhere and all the time, if you could describe water using one sentence, what would you say!

Let’s say Thank you to water, let’s pray for water to appear as useful resources instead of disasters such as floods, hurricanes, or tornadoes and so on.

Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you!

Play The Basebll Game Math The Right Way!

Take Me to The Ball Game…” I love this song, how about you?

Eye on the Ball.”

“Focus on the Batter!”

“Good swing, honey!”

“Run, steal the base!”

“Shake it off, Sweetie!”

“Come on, You Can Do it!”

Are you familiar with these comments?

I know this because I have been watching my kids’ baseball games in the past five years, I love baseball!

Math is in every baseball game, for each player, there is a matter of number of balls, and number of strikes each time he bats, plus number of bases he has advanced, it is on record. For each team, these is a matter of number of innings, number of scores made by each player, plus the order of batting, are you the first one to bat or the last one to bat?

Baseball math is meaningful if and only if it is for temporary facts, not for madness or frictions!

Results do not matter! Your involvements, the progress you have made via practices and competitions, the experiences you have gained in the game matter!

Never mind who batted first, who batted last! Math is for record, not for boasting or upsetting! You don’t need to be the fastest runner to hit a home run, you don’t have to be the tallest guy in your team to get out a batter from your opponent team, and you never need to become a pitcher to get center attentions from the crowds!

Baseball is fun because it is a game of democracy,  you have an equal opportunity to stand in front of the fans and get your batting done, you gain team player skills and upgrade your world views through the game itself!

I love baseball, I love the ball game song, and I wish you the best on the games you have to play!

Play your share

Be fair

That’s what you shall care

When the game is over

No despair!

Go, game players,

Run the bases,

Say your prayers,

Seize the power of faith and confidences,

Make the world series!

Consider life as a baseball game, we do math, we don’t go down with losing scores, if we can do it this way, baseball math is going to be fun to play to pass the day!

Enjoy The Best Day by Playing Baseball Game Math The Right Way!

Submitted to Poets United Thursday Thinking Tank: Fears

Appreciating Fears

Everyone has fears!  Fears often knock at your door in an unexpected way. It may appear in a form you may not be able to recognize it. But it is there and is part of your feelings!

Some people quit and give up their dreams due to their fears of gossips, failures, stresses, and low self-esteem or low-self-confidence! While others find a way to deal with them.

It is important that you recognize fears and learn the ropes of handling them.

Believe me,  fear is manageable if you learn to embrace it, take it to your heart and study it, try to understand and appreciate it.

Fear will disappear if you grasp the art of living with it. You can turn fear into power inside, which keeps you from harm, reminds you of things that are important, and offers you access and tools to face the wounds and begin the healing!

Overcoming your own fears could involve some activities, such as talking, listening to other people’s experiences, reading, writing, visualizing, and mediating.

Please appreciate your fears, feel them and feel them completely. Enjoy the daybreak when the dawn eventually comes to an end. Smile widely and loudly to celebrate your triumph for successfully managing your fears!

There is nothing to be feared about if you face fears and find ways to settle them down!
