Piles of cash,
A five-star car,
Free gas to drive near or far…
Zach gives a sign of relief,
His farm did win, end of grief.

The basketball game’s on,
Life’s guidance gone,
A free throw,
Steal, dribble, score,
Fishy no more,
Win by 4.

My instincts tell me so,
I will be out of town,
I won’t be able to answer your phone.
When love comes to an end,
Time to bid farewell, my friend.
My will is strong,
I must be left alone!
Stop the unrealistic expectation,
Nobody will believe your exaggeration.
Please don’t ask why,
It’s time to say GOODBYE!

Blue Monday at Smiling Sally
PS: This is 100% fiction, I realize that when people read my work, they take it personally at times, if I wrote about sweet hot love, they relate it to me personally, question me, if I write about broken heart, they again have concern on me…I am happily married and enjoy life as it is, i write about all kinds of emotions and experiences, this poem has NOTHING to do with my individual life. Thanks a ton.
Everyone is encouraged to write a poem about love or romance, link to Jingle poetry…xxx
Doing what one believes
No one’s life is easy
As one tries and achieves
2 outsmart the rest.
This Blue Monday
has No mood blues,
Instead we celebrate
and have the courage to face some truth!
Let’s put on a blue dress
This is an entry for Blue Monday
Had a quarrel,
They call each other names
Attempting to ruin the other party’s fames.
“You shall be able to fly.”
Challenged the sparrow.
“You shall be able to crack nuts.”
Responded the squirrel.
Back and forth,
Furies are laid,
Efforts are made,
The costs are paid,
And the frustration is stayed.
“You are doubtlessly very nimble,
But you lack wings.”
Signed the sparrow.
“You are gracefully admirable,
but you have no teeth.”
Answered the squirrel.
“And it is a disgrace
2 force you to occupy my place.
No one is better.”
Thought both the sparrow and the squirrel.
And they smiled to halt their quarrel.
Respect is obtained,
Friendships are maintained,
Humanity is earned,
As lessons are learned.

A Math Problem 2 Solve:
Question: A city bank pays interest on savings at a rate of 4% per year. If a student has
$6, 700 deposit, what is the interest earned after a year? How much is left in the bank
after three years?
Hint: rate=4%=0.04, principal=$6, 700,
Formulas: One Year Interest=rate x principal=___ x______=_______
Three Year Interest=rate x principal x time=___ x ____ x ____=_______
Money is the bank after 3 years=Principal + Three Year Interest=___ +__=___
Good Luck! 😉 😉 🙂

Poetic Endeavors in a Nutshell
About sexual assault, for victims of sexual assault, by survivors of sexual assault.
Most of us feel it, some don't. Some of us say it, some don't. Some may agree, some won't. Be as it may, the facts still remain.
A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)
