Thanks in advance to everyone for reading!

And here is a prize for you, Jingle–
    it’s the “Jingle Limerick Award”

There was a young woman named Jingle
Who with other poets did mingle
    And she gave them prizes
    Of all sorts and sizes
So they with excitement would tingle

    Happy Lucky Week 13!

  10. Dear Jingle…I love all that you do..each award you get is more than deserved…for it reflects the love that each of us feel towards you…and yes I know I don’t keep up…but at my age what would you expect. 🙂

  11. I’m on for week #13
Thanks for adding Pete he’s excited
Moon Hugs to y’all wonderful poet people 🙂

  12. completed my poetic dozen, loved reading them.

thanks for introducing them all to us.

    you are awesome and adorable.

    Happy weekend.

  13. Just a comment for all– I have been to so many blogs this week where I could not find the poem for the Thursday Poets Rally, or sometimes could not find any poem at all.

I have also been to blogs where I could not find where I should post a comment.

I have also been to blogs in Week #13 that have not added anything new since March.

I am confused about this week’s rally. Could everyone next week please make it clear where your current Thursday Rally poem is, and send Jingle the link precisely to it? And have a place to comment by the poem?

Sorry if I offend, but I really am just trying to follow the rules.

And, fyi, my poem for this week will be under my daily posts, as the week keeps going and I post every day.

I enjoyed the poems I did read, and I am done for the week.

    1. Hello:

Thank you for the comment and helpful hints.

for fresh poets to explore, there are No rules for them, we simply look at some poems they write and comment if you wish…
for participants, they may mark their poem for Rally, they may not do so, however, yes, they do need to post a poem between Wednesday and Thursday or Friday, recall that time differences, in Asia, it is Saturday morning at 3:30 now, in America, it is Friday central time 2:30pm…

There are issues indeed, some poets attend the Rally, but do not visit blogs …All poets are grown ups, I leave it to their own decisions…I check blogs one by one, I see we only have one third of participants comment for fresh poets…

Celebrating a year, I am glad that you offered questions.
No perfect Rally, I pick the perfect poet award winners based on nominations, sometimes, if I see a poet who is nominated several times in a row, but never formally accepted the award and did NOT visit blogs at all, then I withhold the nomination…

This is non-profit activity, thus I do what I can do.
Hope that those who read this think about it, did you follow the rules? Did you visit fresh blogs and comment? Did you expect awards or special honors? If you are disappointed, do you know why?

We have indeed many perfect poets, the list does not represents all good ones, I hope you win next time, Celebrating A Year.
You Are Perfect In many Ways!

  14. Thank you Jingle, for your long and careful answer. And, yes, we are all grown-ups and of course you do not have to make sure everyone does it right. For me it is not so important to win prizes, although it is always a fun surprise. I am simply happy to have a place where people are interested in reading my poems, and where I can read what others are writing every week. And I truly thank you for finding me and inviting me to be part of your rally. That is the very best prize I could get.
