Grizzilation by Dunstan Carter

It didn’t have a name,
Now they call it
Grizzilation;

Our self mocking movements
Underpinned by questions,

A new unique boredom
Slurred into meaning,

A trivial birth,
A lollop to little.

In smarter, freer, brighter times
We marvelled as we continued,

Now we just mumble and mourn.
