Dogs bark at midnight,
a horse thumps his ribs with his tails.
.
Thunder in the morning goes on into noon,
Trapped chickens expect heavy rain soon.
.
Leaves shiver,
Waterfalls roar.
.
Muscat panic sky,
Half wet and half dry.
.
Fish float to breathe air,
Cows in the barn make anxious stare.
.
Crickets fasten their ticks,
Pigs play with match sticks.
.
Your mood tips over the day like a thud,
What’s the door to Heaven, you’ve forgot.
.
Muscat panic sky,
Half wet and half dry.

amazing talent.
keep shining.
The most beautiful thing about this poem is the ending. It’s like you leave the thought danging in the air, so the reader can continue the thought trail :).
Loved the imagery, kind of had the hair on my arms standing up like right before lightening strikes. Truth is I love thunder and lightening and I could actually feel like I was there just waiting for the sound of thunder to roar across the sky. Very well done. Blessings.

Wonderfully done, Jingle.
I thought of citing a favorite line, but there were so many beautiful ones, that all came so well together, I gave up on trying to choose one.

I could see a farm in my mind while reading your poem. Simply worded with a natural flow to it. Awesome!
