See WHo Is Napping In Woods (Sunday Prompts, Please Join Poetry Potluck Today)

Green pines laugh in the breeze,

Red lilies grin in the rain,

Squirrels jump to a race,

Satellites launch to outer space.

Z Z z z z….

See who is napping in woods,

Discover beauty in nature’s truth;

Seasons of changes,

Shifts of gears;

Ebbs and flows of growth,

The conquer of fears;

Live Life in FREE verse,

Experiment poetry in reverse;

The world is a busy place,

Let’s embrace and re-measure our pace.

  1. The world is a busy place,

    Let’s embrace and re-measure our pace.

    I loved those two lines. Just had a thought today about how busy our world has become and how we seem to be constantly on the move, multi-tasking. Rushing to keep up with everyone else but not neccessarily happy. How can we adapt ourselves to the changing world while not being left behind? It’s time to take a step back and re-evaluate.

    Loved these two lines. Just had a thought today about how we are constantly running to keep up with the world’s pace and changes. Sure, we are moving, but is that what we want. Are we happy just to follow everyone else? I think, it’s time to take a step back and re-evaluate our goals.

  3. Jingle, this was marvelous. Love the graphic you illustrated it with. And really love the new look of your blog. So clean and peaceful.

    Thanks for sharing your talents with us.

    A+
