Be Aware Thoughts That Come at Night (Please Join Poetry Potluck Today!)

Emotions appear purple or blue,

Haunting almost all of you.

Stormy days wander through,

Who cares about deserted school.

Be aware thoughts that come at night,

with vegetables gossiping about Light.

So sad some folks carry mean mind,

God bless, save all human kind.

Heartbroken songs sing on and on,

Music bonds all, old and young.

Cherish those who always ENDURE,

Live fresh, stay cool.

  1. Wonderful, Jingle !! 🙂
I like the very last line, “Live fresh, stay cool,” the best. It is oozing with hope.
You did really well with all those prompts too!

  2. Music bonds all, old and young…. This is so true, just as does poetry. And so is the value of your work, the glue that holds people together in the creative act – a glue that doesn’t bond with chains, but with love and respect, allowing space to come and go at will. Just as your name, Jingle, sings of the bells that, tied at one end, release beautiful sounds when they shake and dance within the freedom of the moment, and join in the chorus of others to create symphonies.
