I Dream of Being Seen As ..(4 Poets Rally Week 47)

Thursday Poet’s Rally Week 47, share a free verse or any form of  poetry with poets rally….have fun!

I dream of being seen

as the evergreen

as I stand at the edge of your yard,

with my best regard.

that way,

I’ll stay

awake, with no rest

as light of the sun dies in the west.

I’d never turn brown

Even if you forget about watering me

While being out of town.

It has been a while when I formally take an award,

This award is given to me by a fellow poet, appreciate it.

I wish to nominate

For The Perfect Poet Award Week 48…

Short Story Slam Week 4

She loves sailing, water is her passion.

Life could not be better until all of a sudden, her father died.  She is the only child in the family, her father’s business that worthy 1 billion dollars ends up in her hand, according to her father’s will.

She is only 22 yeas old then, freshly graduated from college.

Having no clue how to mange a company of 8000 employees, she is forced to study, read project proposals, ask branch managers for details and more…ending up sleeping 5 hours a day.

She becomes slim, yet elegant.

After 6 months, she basically has everything in perfect shape.

It’s Independent day, she wants to celebrate a little bit, inviting her boy’ over…

But as she comes to his apartment to give him her free self, surprising him, she saw him with another girl, and the girl is her best friend.

The world has turned upside down again…

She deserted the place, like a man running away from bumble bees…

She almost wants to kill herself, but, she remembered her own life time principle:

“if one blames others for one’s own failure, one is never going to make progress,  it is her own responsibility to make her life happy…”

She writes him off her life that day.

And she goes to the sea all by herself, sailing, smiling, feeling and enjoying a new chapter.

It’s magic time,
Time to walk through the wall
and vanish with clinched jaw.
Within the stone,
You start to lick your wound
and heal without hearing any sound.
Within the stone,
You forget about yourself
and become as innocent as an elf.
Within the stone,
You reach satisfaction
Without any distraction.
Within the stone,
You rise above
as everything around you is pure love.
Within the stone,
your muses fly
and emotions go up high.

Poets United Thursday Thinking Tank

A True Story (Short Story Slam Week 3, Poetry Potluck Week 39, ABC Wednesday on V)

Orphaned at a young age,

Kevin lived with Robin, a girl his parents helped to engage.

Belittling Kevin’s poeverty status,

Robin is determined to marry someone rich and powerful,

So, Kevin is isolated in a study near Bluebell Lake, feeling painful.

Kevin has turned into a handsome scholar all girls would adore,

He longs to see Robin, but fails to get the chance,

Thus loneliness drives him to the lake shore,

Where he reciites poetry to the fish that prance.

A carp spirit enjoys listening to Kevin’s brilliant words ever since,

She decides to turn into human form to meet her prince,

Dressed up exactly like Robin,

She paid him a visit and her beauty melted Kevin.

During a new year’s celebration,

Robin’s family saw something terrifying:

Kevin and “Robin” act like a married pair,

How can Robin disgrace her family with such unapproved love affair.

What Robin’s parents did not know about this lifeful storm,

is that “Robin” is actually the carp spirit’s human form:

Now they have two daughters to identify,

Sorrow hits them like swallowing a dead fly.

Both Robin claim to be true,

But only one Robin cares about Kevin, that’s the clue.

The case is reported to the King,

An official is sent to clear up everything.

Fake “Robin” is forgiven for her fault,

And given permission to remain human to marry Kevin as a result;

True Robin regrets what she has done,

She becomes friend of Kevin and his wife, and they have fun.

Be Aware Thoughts That Come at Night (Please Join Poetry Potluck Today!)

Emotions appear purple or blue,

Haunting almost all of you.

Stormy days wander through,

Who cares about deserted school.

Be aware thoughts that come at night,

with vegetables gossiping about Light.

So sad some folks carry mean mind,

God bless, save all human kind.

Heartbroken songs sing on and on,

Music bonds all, old and young.

Cherish those who always ENDURE,

Live fresh, stay cool.
