Reflection and Expectations (Happy New Year In Pink)

No matter what I do,

All that I really care

is 4 words to ring true

and things to be fair.

No matter what I teach,

All that I truly enjoy

is the waves that ebb the beach

and mountain views that echo joy.

No matter what I write,

All that I genuinely love

is 4 the truth to stick out and shine bright

and stars to twinkle above.

Comb the messy hair,

Buckle your seat belt, evade no where,

Stop knocking out the wedges,

Ready, set, go, let’s turn the pages.

One Single Impression (comb)

Three Word Wednesday (buckle, evade, wedge)

Six Word Saturday (Happy 2011, Keep Your Talent Shining!)

Pink Saturday (Happy 2011, wow)

October is the beginning of Fall,

It has the beauty of fairies you adore.

Pecans and apples are ripen and golden,

Dogs and cats play hide and seek often.

October 1st is the best,

Because summer heat eventually gets to rest.

October 2nd is my birthday,

What a perfect time to celebrate.

I was born with the most curious eyes,

I enjoyed looking at autumn skies.

I was tickled by the rich colors of Fall,

I enjoyed pumpkin pies, my grandma used to recall.

I was terrified about getting flu shots,

Which had driven my parents nuts.

I was pleased to get the permission to choose

some of my favorite dresses and shoes.

I dreamed many fancy dreams,

I excelled in school without playing tricky schemes,

I explored places in long distances,

Thousands of books had given me soul food to smile at certain circumstances.

October is haunting ans exciting as well,

Ghosts are all over the town to dwell.

Feed yourself some sweet pop tarts

before the chill of November starts.

Paradise ( A Poem) Plus Birthday Celebrations!

Above the ocean,

Below the heaven,

There is a paradise

Where you can act divine or wise.

Everything will be perfect there,

You won’t be bothered by subjective stare.

You can enjoy life as you will,

And let your fears roll down the hill.

There will be no accusations or misconceptions,

There will be no painful communications,

You simply enjoy kind and pure minded friends,

The joy of writing and blogging has no ends.

Sorrows vanish like summer rain,

Sickness desert you without pills of pain,

The air will smell like fresh roses,

Inspirations fill your soul with perfect proses…

Oh, my, I just discovered that TWO poets in our community will celebrate their birthdays on December 29th, and they are turning to the SAME age…They are Pat Cegan and Victoria..Happy Birthdays, Princess Poetesses..What a miracle to know you two were born at exactly the same day and exactly the same year…

I also learned today that Kavita will celebrate her birthday on January 1st, and Ina will do hers on January 4th, Since we have NO potluck on January 2nd, thus I included them here and

Fiveload mentioned that he has a birthday todaY, 28TH, I add his name here…

Everyone, please join us with these fabulous celebrations..Feel free to visit the following 5 poets to wish them Happy birthday!

Pat Cegan

I am linking this post to potluck week 16 today, every poet is welcome to join us 4 this last potluck fun of 2010…Thanks for the support all year long, Happy 2011, Stay Blessed!

Poetry Potluck

Say Cheese…

Image taken from Room 4 romance #10

Say cheese, capture the juicy smiles on your face,

Let passion and enthusiasm take place,

demonstrate a manifesto to grow new grace.

To educate, give to charity,

showcase caring and leadership capacity in silence,

not to object, but to accept and cherish life’s excellence.

Let love show,

Let lights and eyes glow,

Let the year of 2010 go without a blow.

Carry On Tuesday (only one night from old to new)

Sunday Scribbling (manifesto)

Three Word Wednesday ( educate, object, silence)

Haiku Heights ( Charity)

Room for Romance (#10)

Lots of Laughter ( anything)

Monday Poetry Train Revisited

Everyone is welcome to share your holiday celebration poems with poetry potluck tomorrow…See you then, xxx

Fair Dinkum Award from a fellow poet at Scribble and Edit

According to scribble and edit: Awards stand for Friendship

She believes that Fair Dinkum Award meant:
‘You’ve got a point there, I can’t argue with that, that’s fine by me’.

She has passed Fair Dinkum Award to Jingle, what an honor, Thanks a lot for thinking of me…xxx

Check her here:

It is difficult to pick a few (RULES: pass it to 1 to 10 bloggers) to pass it on, especially when we have  a community of hundreds of poets, thus I would like to pass this award to anyone who wish to have it and have left a comment under this post, enjoy and Happy New Year!

Jingle Bells Song

Jingle Bells : Lyrics

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells,
Jingle all the way!
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.

\ (Repeat chorus) Dashing through the snow
On a one-horse open sleigh,
Over the fields we go,
Laughing all the way;
Bells on bob-tail ring,
making spirits bright,
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight

Oh, Jingle bells, jingle bells,
jingle all the way!
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh

(Repeat chorus)

A day or two ago,
I thought I’d take a ride,
And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side;
The horse was lean and lank;
Misfortune seemed his lot;
He got into a drifted bank,
And we, we got up sot.

Oh, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells,
Jingle all the way!
What fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.

(Repeat chorus)

A day or two ago,
the story I must tell
I went out on the snow
And on my back I fell;
A gent was riding by
In a one-horse open sleigh,
He laughed as there
I sprawling lie,
But quickly drove away.

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells,
Jingle all the way!
What fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.

(Repeat chorus)

Now the ground is white
Go it while you’re young,
Take the girls tonight
And sing this sleighing song;
Just get a bob-tailed nag
two-forty for his speed
Hitch him to an open sleigh
And crack! you’ll take the lead.

Oh, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells,
Jingle all the way!
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.

Jingle bells, jingle bells,
jingle all the way!
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh

Week 15 Theme: Reflections, Interpretations, Musings!

Week 16 Theme: Celebrations and festivities!

Thanks 2 Amanda/Kavita 4 The Muses…

I took an apple,

I washed it under the sink,

I dried it with paper towel,

Then I rubbed the smooth skin,

and smelled the flesh inside!

Sweeter than pineapple,

More crunchy than pears, wink,

The fairest fruit to gain brain power,

It tastes the warmth of the sunshine,

I breath out, then in,

Allowed the muses to offer me pride.

Special thanks to Trisha at Trisha for Poetry Potluck Pride, and Love It arts contribution…

I Saw An Angel In My Room Today (4 Potluck Week 15)

I saw an angle in my room today,

Her gown was pink and grey;

She smelled sweet

with magical glow under her feet.

I saw an angel in my room today,

Her hair was sparkling brown;

She brought in a soft breeze,

and some magical tricks to grace my place.
