Wednesday Sensational Haiku (Green/Outdoor/Summer)

Born in a muddy place,

Still, I wiggle my way out to

share my innocent grace.

Adversity is like air,

It will never disappear,

but, I don’t care.

This is an entry 4 the following:

Jenny Matlock’s Aphabe-Thursday for Rainbow Summer School ( Green )

A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday

and for Sensational Haiku Wednesday at Jenn of You know… that Blog?

  1. both are excellent Ji.. 🙂 liked the first one better tho

btw, I’ve a doubt.. 🙂 is Thursday Poets Rally, a weekly event? I mean, is week 27 starting tomorrow?

    1. it is a weekly event in the past 23 weeks,
      I run every week,

recently, I have changed the schedule, Week 27 is next week,
      u r welcome as always…

      Glad to hear your question!

  2. divine…..lotus is symbol of enlightenment……neutral inside …natural outside..

    love all……

    p.s….your blog is a lotus….so comes in my blogroll….

  3. Hi Jingle ~~ your verses are very truthful. Of course they fit your pretty pictures but life as well.
If you are going to write very much haiku you might want to read up about it. You could also read about senryu which has the same form but tells about humanity things instead of the nature and its seasons as does the pure haiku. Wikipedia is a good start and then Google will give your more academic reading. Mine are mostly senryus.

  4. a set of exquisite haiku dear, ALL the lovely awards you graced me with have now been posted, thank you for your patience and help finding them, my friend xx

  5. These were so inspiring!!! Too good!!
Sometimes, just a few words can say so much!! I mean, this really was awesome!!!
    Adversity, I don’t care – WOW!!!

    Great going, Ji…
    Much love.. 😀

  6. After just spending a few days gardening, I myself feel like I’ve wriggled out of the mud, not gracefully, but then again, I don’t care 😉 Thanks for sharing!

  7. Hi Jingle!

I like the first haiku. It formed images in my head. The second one is nice, too. As one of the bloggers who commented said, “I love the attitude.”

    Katherine 🙂

  8. Whoa! I am just loving these! In India, tis still monsoon in full bloom.. so even though I have my poem on Autumn ready, i kind of dont feel like posting it right now! 😮 :O
