  13. Ji – how wonderful it is to read so many sublime poems – each one unique – each one lifts itself into my mind and my heart. I have read them all – each one reaches out, some profound, some simple; they have all touched me in some way. I’m very honored to see my poem among so many gems and so happy to be included along with all these amazing, gifted, wonderful poets! How beautiful in spirit all these layers of poems are, and how wonderful and gifted are those writers, including you dear Jingle, who enrich my life. Jingle, the following poem I have written especially for you!

    —-
    Out among the vibrant colors,
    making up the universe,
is a star that everyone follows
shining bright with art and verse.

    It’s a dazzling, sparkling light
that flows among us, day and night
and I will keep it in my sight.

I know her name, the star that glitters,
with all she does for me and others,
    endlessly she plays her parts,
Jingle – you fill up our hearts!
    —–
Thank you dear friend Ji, thank you always. You are the Star! 🙂
    John

  17. Thank you so much for the awards and your always warm welcomes. Congratulations to us all 😀 yey!!

  18. My dear sweet Jingle,
I am afraid that I haven’t done anything to earn these beautiful awards, but I would like to thank you anyways for thinking of me. I am going to not accept them because I feel in my heart to do so wouldn’t be fair to others so please forgive me for not accepting them. I am truly sorry but do have to do what I feel is fair. I haven’t been able to sleep most of the night so I mainly stopped by to update you on my husband.

Larry has cancer of the throat and the doctors are trying to find out how far it has spread, what kind it is, and if the cancer came from Agent Orange while he was serving in Vietnam. He can’t eat without chocking and if he does get it down he throws everything back up, including the Insure the nurses gives him. He is nothing but skin and bones now. If he doesn’t soon start holding something down they are going to feed him by a tube. Well my firend that is all I have to tell you right now. I miss everyone but there isn’t enough hours in a day to read and be with Larry and take care of my grandkids for Donna to go to school and work two days out of the week. I do have you all in my prayers and I think about all of you every day. I will keep in touch with you my special friend. God bless you Jingle.

    Love Viola

    1. viola, my mom had same cancer in 1994 and she is now clean. a survivor!!! that means there is hope for Larry. i will continue to pray for him. please be strong! he needs your strength now.

  19. Jingle, you are AMAZING. Thank you so much for everything. I may have been late to the party, but I finally got around to doing all my reading and commenting… how could I stop at 18? There are some brilliant writers out there and you are a saint for pointing them out to us.

I am abashed and grateful that you would offer me the recognition that you have.

    Peace, love and unicorns,
    Leda

  20. Jingle,
