#1:

Colors

And Rains

Are what spring brings.

#2:

Spring

Is when

The fun and life begin.

#3:

Doors open

The air is fresh,

Fountains splash.

#4:

It is spring time,

Farms plow,

Trees sprout.

#5:

I would like

Ride a bike

And go on a hike.

#6:

Sing

About spring

In a fling.

#7:

Snow and ice  melt

Buckle your seat belt

Drive with NO guilt.

#8:

Schools keep open,

Hens r ready to hatch chicken,

Blossoms wave hello in the garden.

  1. Hi Jingle, Coincidently I have just written my first 3 Haiku – and about March and Spring too! lol! I’ve done mine in 5, 7 and 5 syllables though. Yours is great! I like;
‘the doors open’ which suggests a breath of fresh air
‘the fun and life begin’ which suggests ‘rebirth and regrowth’
and the blossoms waving hello in the garden…aw!

  2. I really enjoy reading these Haikus. #1 is my favorite one. A job well done and I can’t wait until spring comes. I do love the beautiful pastel colors spring brings.

  3. Love #4 – the time when we are working together with nature. 🙂 In the spring I love to touch the branches as the leaves begin to wick.

  5. Hi Jingle
I favor # 7 for I’m ready for the snow and ice to melt!!! Give me some spring yeaaa!!! I’m not attempting to do Haiku I have a hard enough time tying poetry.Have a lovely evening my friend. 😀

  6. I remember when I learned about Haiku. It is pretty interesting!

My favorite thing to do in the spring is just play outside as much as possible! 🙂 I have kids at home so I think they’d nod in agreement!

    So I love # 2 🙂

  7. Hi, I can’t understand how to add your site in my rss reader. Can you Help me, please 🙂

  8. Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

  9. I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
