From Poets To Poets

Hello, Friend, Great News :

First of all, Jingle thinks that U R all so cool on Thursday Poets’ Rally week 4 😉 😉 🙂 by commenting and posting poems. Friday is quiet and silent for most of us, but Now I am ready to share information about this contest I participated and entered this week, if you are a poet and have free time, please check this out and enjoy the FUN.

Good Luck 2 U All!!!

It is time for a new word at David L. Harrison’s Word of the Month Poem Contest. This is what David says about the contest:

“Each month this blog will feature a word of the month to stimulate a poem. Anyone who wishes to share a poem is invited to participate. The point is to enjoy the challenge of writing a poem inspired by a single word. It doesn’t matter if this is your first poem or five hundredth. It’s all done for the fun and exercise of writing”

The word is Road.  Your entry must be posted in the comments by February 22.

Super Bowl Haiku

What is Haiku?

If U are new, click here to learn about Haiku and in how to write one, good luck. ;) ;) ;)

Super bowl game
Is a F-O-O-T-B-A-L-L game
With NO F-O-O-T on the ball most of the time in game.

A show
will be on
Before the game is on.

An alien can not tell
The difference between a soccer ball
And a football.

Soccer players kick the ball,
Football players throw the ball,
Both players run and pass the ball.

A Super bowl game
Is a foot-ball game
Not a food-bowl game.

Play the game fair,
Play the game fun,
Celebrate the game with a bottle of wine.

Super bowl fans are here,
Super bowl fans are there,
Super bowl fans are everywhere.

Sit still,
Swallow a pill,
Stay alert about fire drill.

Music in ears.

Sparkling eyes.

Super bowl tickets for sale,
Not restricted to a male,
One dollar a pail.

Did U C
What I C? (did you see what I see?)
The ball is flying our way.

1 2, buckle my shoe,
3, 4, sit on the floor,
5, 6, bake super bowl cakes.

Catch my favorite ball,
Steal today’s show.

It hurts
When one loses
And Walk like gooses. ☺

The sun
Has fun
Watching the game to get done.

Walk super bowl walk,
Talk super bowl talks,
Paint super bowl trophy on sidewalks.

Super bowl is hot,
Super bowl fans are cool,
Let’s have a feast of super bowl Haiku.

Super bowl game is wholesome,
Super bowl players are winsome,
Super bowl fans and media are handsome.

A football
And a super bowl
Are twins in the show.

Are U going to watch Superbowl game on Sunday? Yes, or No, let me know. I appreciate your response.

Happy Friendly Friday to U All!  😉 😉 😉
