Becoming Homeless

From the news, I know Haiti has an earthquake on January 13, 2010, how horrible it is if it happens to one of us! Natural disasters hurt humans and make the victims feel hopeless some times, but help is offered by many and let’s pray for those, hope that things get under control and more lived are rescued and saved.

I have nil control over my fate

When it comes to earthquake,

The nightmare hits my place

With unstoppable pace.

The floor cracks,

The Building falls.

Rocks crumble,

Animals stumble.

Humans get buried

While rescuing teams hurried.

When I open my eyes,

I see dead flies

And wounded mice,

Lying in bed,

I learned that my parents are dead!

So sad,

So mad,

About this bad

Fate I have had!

Becoming homeless,

And feeling helpless,

Strangers care for me instead.

Being still in dread

Of this disastrous dismay,

I chew a slice of bread

And wonder

Where is my home to stay.

Have A Blessing Day! Everyone!

Make The Pain disappear:

Call For Thursday Poets’ Rally (Week 1: Jan. 14-Jan. 20, 2010)

Hello, How are you this evening?

I decide to make Thursdays The Poets’ Rally. The mission is to spend the whole day promoting and celebrating poetry.

Poets are unique creatures, we think and write, only in poetic and

musical or emotional form…We use the most powerful WORDS to express the most beautiful feelings, either it is sad, happy, or loving.

I have a list attached below, in this first week, I suggest that

#1: check to see if you are on the list or not, if you are a poet and not on the list, comment here and let me know, I will add your on.

#2: Post a poem in your own blog on Thursdays.

#3: Go ahead and visit the blogs on the list, please make sure to make a minimum 12 positive comments on 12 different blogs where you have never commented before.

#4: Very important, please make sure to comment back when you are given comments.

#5: After you post a poem, commented a minimum 12 blogs, let me know and you will remain on the list the following week as active poets.

You must post a poem on Thursday in your own blog, and have a minimum 12 visits to 12 new blogs done by next Thursday.

Isn’t it wonderful we poets stick together and pat each other on our shoulders and appreciate each others’ work?

Let’s go ahead and enjoy a feast of comments on our poems.

If I like you,

You may like me,

Why Don’t we form a poet family?

With a polite greeting from me

To you,

Won’t you agree

To say hello to me too?

LURK NO MORE! PLEASE COMMENT AND LET ME KNOW YOU ARE HERE. Let me know if you like my blog, also let me know if you have hints or suggestions on my posts…Thank YOU!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚
