Hyde Park Poetry :Hyde Park Thursday Poets Rally Week 77: January 10, 2013 to January 17, 2013
Curtains forcing their will
against the wind,
Children asleep,
Exchanging dreams with
Seraphim. The city
drags itself awake on
Subway strap, and
I, an alarm, awake as a
rumor war,
lie stretching into dawn,
unasked and unheeded.
